A brand born from obsession with the details
The story
UNÎCA was born in Catalonia in 2014.
From the creative restlessness of Josep María Rodríguez, an industrial engineer with more than 15 years in precision manufacturing and an experienced cyclist who always felt the big brands weren't quite getting to what he was after.
In 2014, Josep took the leap: he sold all his shares in the company where he'd spent more than 15 years and decided to dedicate his life to making athletes happy by crafting jewels on two wheels.
The first UNÎCA to reach a middle-distance triathlon did so with a belt drive and hub-internal gearing. No chain. No noise. Just speed.
Since then, every UNÎCA bike leaves our hands with one thing clear: it's designed for a specific person, with their goals, their body and their way of understanding cycling.

We don't build to replace — we build to accompany. A UNÎCA is designed to last decades, not seasons. That's the most honest way to talk about sustainability when we talk about bikes.
Local production
Every UNÎCA is built at our Factory in Palau-solità i Plegamans. No containers crossing oceans. No unnecessary packaging.
Real durability
We offer a lifetime warranty on frames, forks and our own components. When something fails, we repair it. When something is updated, we offer you the upgrade instead of a new bike.
Repairability
Any part is replaceable. Any qualified mechanic can service a UNÎCA. No patents that block after-sales service.

- T800 CarbonWe work with traceable prepregs. Recyclable at end of life through specialized thermal processes.
- Grade 9 Titanium100% recyclable. An alloy that doesn't corrode or age. A titanium UNÎCA can be passed from one generation to the next.
- Energy and waterThe Factory runs on contracted renewable energy. We reuse the water from frame washing before the paint process.
We don't talk about sustainability as branding. We talk about it as engineering: how many years a part works, what happens to it when it stops working, where it comes from and where it goes.
